We are looking forward to welcoming all our new and old patients back into the practice after a very testing time for everyone.
Our team have been working hard to redesign the way we operate to ensure the safety of you and our team.

When you next come to see us you will notice some significant changes, which are all designed to ensure the safety of both you and our team. Your journey will look and feel different please see below which will help you.

Below is a summary of the New Orthodontic Appointment Protocol

If you have any of the symptoms of COVID-19 please let us know as soon as you can. Do not attend your appointment and we recommend that you follow government guidelines for self-isolation.

Before your Appointment

We will contact you a few days before the appointment by phone, e-mail, or text message. The email or text message will contain the link to our COVID-19 screening questions and medical history form. We are asking you to please complete these forms, as failure to do so might result in the cancellation of your appointment.

On the day of your appointment

Before you come over to your appointment please visit the toilet at home and ensure that you brushed your teeth well enough before setting off because access to toilet facility at the practice is now restricted.
We will recommend the use of disclosing tablets to ensure that all the plaque has been fully removed. This will help our team to provide your treatment efficiently while also ensuring that your teeth and gum stay healthy.
We would kindly ask you to arrive for your appointment about 10 minutes earlier to afford time for the pre-appointment screening process.
When you arrive, our doors will be locked, so please call us to let us know that you arrived.

Entering the practice

When our team is ready for you one of our nurses will come to meet you.
She will wear additional personal protective equipment including a face mask.
She will check if there are any changes to your answers to the screening questions submitted online.
She will open the practice door for you, please do not touch the door or any other items in the practice.

Payment

We would prefer card payments in advance wherever possible so please try not to come with cash. If you cannot avoid with cash please bring it in a sealed plastic bag.

It is our hope that we will eventually be able to normalise the operation of the diary after some time. The Practice will open additional days of the week to help achieve this.

Virtual Video Consultation

We are pleased to be able to still offer our Virtual Video Consultations are still available for certain types of appointments such as Invisalign treatment, retainer checks and reviews. We can discuss the treatment available and answer your questions all from the comfort of your own home.
